                              Irish Soda Bread

    3 1/2  cups          whole wheat flour
    1      teaspoon      salt
    1      teaspoon      baking soda
    1      teaspoon      baking powder
      1/2  cup           margerine
    2      tablespoons   caraway seed
    1 1/3  cups          buttermilk
    1                    egg -- beaten
                         raisins
 
 Cream margerine with dry ingredients and seeds.  Mix in buttermilk, eggs and ra
 isins.  Knead with extra flour.  Bake at 375 degrees for about an hour.
