                               Pumpkin Bread

    3      cups          sugar
    1      cup           margarine
    2                    eggs -- ( add 4 if you like
                          -- higher cakes)
    2      cups          pumpkin -- (1 can)
      2/3  cup           water
    3 1/3  cups          sifted flour
    2      teaspoons     baking soda
    1 1/2  teaspoons     salt
    1      teaspoon      cinnamon
    1      teaspoon      nutmeg
      1/4  teaspoon      cloves
 
 Cream together sugar and margarine. Add and beat eggs. Stir in pumpkin and wate
 r. Mix together flour, baking soda, salt, and spices; add to wet ingredients:
 
 Pour into greased and floured bread loaf pans. 350* for 60-70 minutes on full s
 ize loaf pans. Cool and remove from pans. This freezes well. If you do it as a 
 cake and freeze, frost after it thaws on day you will be serving it. NOTE: This
  is recipe is so versatile. I usually make it in the mini loaf pans. Even my ki
 ds love this one. If I need a cake to bring somewhere, I will bake it in a 13x9
  or 15x11 pan and frost it with cream cheese frosting.
