MMMMM----- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.05
       Title: Butterscotch Brownies
  Categories: Cookie
       Yield: 16 servings
     2/3 c  Flour
       1 ts Baking powder
     1/4 ts Salt
     1/4 c  Butter
       1 c  Packed brown sugar
       1    Egg
       1 ts Vanilla
     3/4 c  Nuts -- chopped
   Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Sift flour with baking powder and salt
   and set aside.  Melt butter in a saucepan over low heat, add sugar,
   and stir until dissolved; cool 5 minutes.  Beat in egg and vanilla,
   mix in dry ingredients and nuts.  Spoon into a greased 8x8 pan and
   bake 30-35 minutes until brownies just begin to pull from sides of
   pan.  Cool in pan on a rack before cutting.
