                         Extra Easy  Cherry Cobbler

      1/4  cup           butter or margarine
    1      package       6.25 oz, White Lily Buttermilk Biscuit Mix
      2/3  cup           sugar
      2/3  cup           milk
    1      can           20 oz, cherry pie filling
 
 Melt butter or margarine in 8- or 9-inch square baking dish in 350* oven.
  Mix contents of package, sugar and milk until well combined.  Pour batter
 evenly into melted butter.  Do not stir.  Spoon pie filling over batter. Bake
 at 350* for 40 - 45 minutes or until top crust is browned.  Serve hot.

 NOTES : I substituted fresh peaches sprinkled with a little sugar for the pie
 filling.
