       Title: Almond Tea Cookies

       Yield: 36 servings
  
       1 c  Butter
     1/2 c  Confectioners sugar
       1 ts Vanilla
       3 dr Almond extract
     1/4 ts Salt
     1/4 ts Cinnoman
   2 1/4 c  Flour
     3/4 c  Blanched almonds
  
      Allow butter to come to room temperature. Finely chop blanced almonds.
   Sift flour and Confectioners Sugar In a medium mixing bowl, cream the
   butter, sugar, vanilla, almond extract, salt and cinnamon. Add flour and
   stir in almonds Chill if necessary to make firmer before shaping. Roll
   level teaspons of the dough into balls.  Place a few inches apart on
   ungreased cookie sheets.  Bake at 400 degrees for 10 - 12 minutes.
       With a spatula remove to wire racks. At once roll in extra
   confectioners sugar.   Store in a tightly covered tin box. Makes 2 1/2 or 3
   dozen cookies.
