  Categories: Cookies
       Yield: 7 servings

   1 1/2 c Butter
       1 c Sugar
     1/4 c Unsweetened cocoa powder
       1 ts Baking powder
       1 Egg
       1 ts Vanilla
   3 1/2 c All-purpose flour
2 oz Semisweet chocolate; cut up
            Or green candy coating
            Disks
       2 tb Shortening

Beat butter in a large mixing bowl with an electric mixer on medium

   onto ungressed cookie sheet.
Bake in a 375 oven for 8 to 10 minutes or till edges of cookies are
firm but not brown. Remove cookies and cool on wire racks.
Melt together chocolate or candy coating and shortening in a small heavy
saucepan. Place cookies on waxed paper, drizzle with the melted mixture.
Let stand till drizzle is set. Makes about 84.
