       Title: Orange Macadamia Nut Cookies

       Yield: 72 servings
  
       4 c  Flour
       2 c  Powdered sugar; sifted
       1 c  Cornstarch
       2 c  Butter
       1 c  Macadamia nuts
       2    Egg yolks
       1 tb Fine shredded orange peel
       4 tb Orange juice - to 6 tbls
            Sugar
            Orange frosting:
       2 c  Powdered sugar; sifted
       3 tb Butter; softened
       1 ts Fine shredded orange peel
       2 tb Orange juice - to 3 tbls
  
       In large mixing bowl stir together flour, powdered sugar and
   cornstarch. Using a pastry blender, cut in butter till mixture resembles
   coarse crumbs. Stir in nuts. Combine egg yolks, 1 tbls orange peel and 4
   tbls orange juice; add to flour mixture, stirring until moistened. If
   needed, add more orange juice to moisten. On lightly floured surface, knead
   dough til it forms a ball. Shape dough into 1-1/4 balls.
       Arrange balls on ungreased baking sheets; flatten by pressing with the
   bottom of a glass to 1/4 thickness, dipping glass into sugar for each
   round. Bake at 350 for 12-15 minutes or until edges begin to brown.
       Remove from baking sheets. Cool on wire rack. Frost with Orange
   Frosting. If desired, garnish with finely shredded orange peel.
      ORANGE FROSTING: In a bowl, stir together powdered sugar, butter, orange
   peel and enough orange juice to make an icing of spreading consistency.
   NOTE: Recipe can easily be cut in half.
