       Title: Apricot Jewels

       Yield: 30 servings
  
   1 1/4 c  Flour, all-purpose
     1/4 c  Sugar
   1 1/2 ts Baking powder
     1/4 ts Salt
     1/2 c  Butter or margarine
       3 oz Cream cheese
     1/2 c  Flaked coconut
     1/2 c  Apricot preserves
  
     Honorable mention at the 1973 Indiana State Fair.
     Sift the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt together. Mix butter and
   cream cheese then add to flour mixture; blend well. Add the coconut and
   apricot preserves and blend well. Drop by teaspoons on ungreased cookie
   sheet. Bake at 350 15-18 minutes until light brown. Makes about
        30    cookies
