       Title: Honey Pecan Snaps
  Categories: Cookies
       Yield: 48 Servings
  
     1/2 c  Butter or margarine; soften
     1/2 c  Shortening
   1 1/2 c  Sugar
     1/2 c  Honey
       2    Eggs
       2 tb Lemon juice
       4 c  Flour
   2 1/2 ts Baking soda
       1 ts Ground cloves
       1 ts Ground cinnamon
     1/2 ts Ground ginger
     1/2 ts Salt
       1 c  Pecans; chopped
            Additional sugar
  
   In a mixing bowl, cream butter, shortening and sugar
   until fluffy. Add honey, eggs and lemon juice; beat
   well. Combine dry ingredients; gradually add to
   creamed mixture Fold in pecans. Shape into 1 balls;
   roll in sugar. Place on ungreased baking sheets. Bake
   at 350~ for 12-13 minutes, or until golden brown. Cool
   2 minutes; remove to wire racks.
