                          UNBAKED CARAMEL COOKIES

    2       c            Sugar
      3/4   c            Butter or margarine
    6       oz           Can evaporated milk
                         - undiluted
    1                    Pkg instant butterscotch
                         -pudding mix
    3 1/2   c            Quick-cooking Oatmeal
 
     Combine sugar, butter and evaporated milk; stir over
   low heat until mixture comes to a full rolling boil.
   Remove from heat and add pudding mix and oatmeal.
   Stir thoroughly.  Cool 15 minutes, the drop by rounded
   spoonfuls onto waxedúper lined cookie pans.
   
   These are almost like candy, too.
