    1      Cup           Persimmon pulp
      1/2  Teaspoon      Salt
    1      Teaspoon      Soda
    1      Cup           Raisins (dunk in wiskey)
    1      Cup           Walnuts - chopped
      1/2  Teaspoon      Ground Cloves
      1/2  Teaspoon      Nutmeg
 
   Cream shortening and sugar, add egg and beat. Add all the rest. Drop
 by tsp. and bake @ 350 - 15 mins.
