                           Frozen Nectarine Cream

    1      Cup           Milk
      1/4  Cup           Light Corn Syrup
      1/2  Tsp           Vanilla Extract
      1/8  Tsp           Almond Extract
    5                    Ripe Nectarines
    1      Cup           Whipping Cream
 
 * note: I use egg substitute because of the Salmonella problem
 
 In a large bowl, beat eggs until thick and lemon colored.  Beat in sugar.
 
 stir in milk, corn syrup, vanilla and almond extract.  Discard nectarine 
 pits. Puree nectarines until smooth. Stir into egg mixture.  Stir in 
 whipping cream.  Pour into ice cream canister and freeze according to 
 manufacturer’s directions.
 
 Yield: 2 quarts
