                              SIMPLE ICE CREAM

    2                    eggs
      2/3  cup           sugar
    2      cups          whipping cream
    2      cups          fruit either pureed, chopped, or mashed
                         (bananas, peaches, any kind of berry,
                         cherries, etc)
    1      teaspoon      vanilla extract (or try some almond
                         extract if you are using cherries or
                         peaches)
 
 With an electirc mixer, beat the egg and the sugar until they form a thick,
 light-yellow mixture. Add the pureed fruit, cream and flavorings to the egg
 mixture and stir until well blended. Process in either a conventional ice
 cream freezer or in one of the non-electric ice cream makers that you chill
 in your freezer before using.
 
 YIELD: about 1 quart
