                        PUERTO RICAN RICE AND BEANS

                         Boned pork -- 1 chunks
    1       t            Oil
      1/2                Onion -- slice
    3       cl           Garlic -- mince
    2                    Jalapenos -- slice, mince
    2       cn           Roma Italians -- chunk, 28oz

    1       cn           Garbanzo beans -- w/liquid
    1       c            Raw rice
      1/4   ts           Black pepper
    2       tb           Cilantro -- mince
    1       tb           Oregano
    1                    Sweet red pepper -- dice
    1       cn           Black beans -- drain, rinse
 
   Use pork from Puerto Rican Roast Pork. Brown in hot
   oil in Dutch oven. Add onions, garlic, jalapenos and
   tomatoes. Cook for about 10 minutes. Add garbanzos and
   cook 5 minutes. Add raw rice and black pepper. Cook 25
   minutes until most of the liquid is absorbed. Add
   cilantro, oregano, red pepper and black beans. Toss
