    1      lb            Pork sausage
      1/2  c             Onion -- chopped
   10      ml            Garlic -- minced
    1      tbsp          Fat
    8      oz            Tomato sauce
   12      oz            Whole kernel corn
      1/3  c             Ripe olives -- sliced
      1/2  tsp           Salt

                         -----CORN BREAD TOPPING-----
      1/2  c             Sifted flour
    2      tbsp          Sugar
    2      tsp           Baking powder
      1/4  tsp           Salt
      1/2  c             Yellow corn meal
    1                    Egg -- beaten
      1/2  c             Milk
    2      tbsp          Shortening -- melted
 
 1.  Cook onions and garlic in hot fat until tender but not brown.  Add sa
 usage, crumble, and brown.  Drain off drippings.  Add tomato sauce, corn,=
  olives and salt.  Mix well.  Place meat mixture in a two quart casserole
 .  Pour corn bread topping over meat mixture.
 
  2.  For Topping:  Sift together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and sal
 t.
 STir in corn meal.  Combne egg, milk, and shortening and add to dry ingre
 dients.  Beat until smooth.  Pour topping mixture over meat mixture.
 
  3.  Bake at 400* for 35 minutes or until top is brown.
