                            Tortillas de Harina

    1      Kilogram      flour, all-purpose
  250      grams         vegetable shortening
    2      teaspoons     salt
                         water as needed
 
 Mix the flour with the salt, then with the vegetable shortening and when it is
 done add water as needed for to make a dough.
 
 Make balls for to do the tortillas and let stand 10 minutes.
 
 With a rolling pin make tortillas and cook in a hot “comal” or sarten with
 teflon without any kind of shortening, cook one side let make a little balls
 of vapor, then cook the other side until cook, another time turn the tortilla
 and cook the first side until it’s done.
 
 Use or let cool and refrigerate.
