                          Japanese Fruit Pie

    1                    Cube margarine,melted -- cooled
    2                    Eggs -- beaten
    1      teaspoon      Vanilla extract
      1/2  cup           Coconut
    1                    Unbaked pie shell
    1      cup           Sugar
      1/2  teaspoon      Vinegar
      1/2  cup           Chopped nuts
 
 Combine margarine,sugar,eggs,vinegar and vanilla in bowl.Mix well.
 Stir in dates,coconut and nuts.Pour into pie shell.Bake in 300
 degree oven for 45 to 50 minutes or until brown.Makes 6 to 8
 servings.
