                           Layered Spinach Salad

      1/2  pound         fresh spinach -- cleaned & torn apart
    1      head          iceberg lettuce -- cleaned & torn apart
    1      package       frozen peas
    4                    hard boiled eggs -- sliced
      1/2  pound         bacon -- cooked & crumbled
                         Dressing:
    1      package       Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing mix
    1      cup           sour cream
    2      cups          mayonnaise
 
 Layer the salad ingredients in the order given.  It is not necessary to thaw
 the peas before putting in the salad.
 
 Mix the dressing ingredients and spread over the top of the salad.
 Refrigerate.
 
 This salad is especially good when made several hours, or a day, ahead.
