                             GREEN PEPPER ASPIC

    4      large         green peppers, seeded and cut into 6ths
      1/3  cup           water
    1      1/4oz pkg     gelatin
    1      tablespoon    lemon juice
    1      teaspoon      salt
      1/4  teaspoon      pepper
    1                    carrot peeled
    1      cup           mayonnaise
 
 Assemble and attach food grinder using fine grinding plate.  Turn to speed 4
 and grind peppers; measure out 1/4 cup pepper juice.  Place juice and water
 in saucepan.  Heat over medium heat to boil; remove from heat and sprinkle
 gelating over mixture.  Stir well to dissolve completely.  Add lemon juice,
 salt, and pepper and mix well.  Refrigerate until partially set.
 
 Assemble and attach rotor slicer/shredder using fine shredder cone (no 1).
 Turn to speed 4 and shred carrots.  Mix carrots, remaining green pepers, and
 mayonnaise together.  Fold into gelatin mixture.  Place mixture in an oiled
 4-cup mold.  Refrigerate until set.  Unmold before serving.
