                                 Taco Salad

    1      Large Can     Ranch Style Beans -- drained
    1      Head          Lettuce -- shredded
    1      Can           Kernel Corn -- drained
    3      Medium        Tomatoes -- cut bite-sized pcs.
    1      Bunch         Green Onions
      1/2  Pound         Mild Cheddar Cheese -- grated
    1      6 Oz. Pkg.    Corn Chips
 
 Drain beans and corn.  Shred lettuce.  Slice tomatoes into bite size
 pieces.  Chop onion.  Grate cheese and chill the first 6 items. Just
 before serving, add crumbled corn chips and top with 1 bottle of
 Catalina dressing.  I also add 1 lb of ground round to this recipe which
 makes it even better.
 
 Gaye’s notes:  In lieu of the bottle of Catalina dressing, I add some
 thick, spicy salsa plus approximately 1/4th cup of Catalina dressing to
 taste.
