                     Acorn Squash Baked With Pineapple

    1                    acorn squash -- cut in half
    2      Tsp.          margarine
    2      Tsp.          brown sugar
    3      Tbsp.         crushed pineapple
    1      Tbsp.         margarine
                         sprinkle of ground nutmeg
      1/4  Tsp.          salt
 
 Scoop out and discard squash seed and fiber. Place
 squash in a baking dish that has been coated with margarine. 
 Put 1 teaspoon brown sugar and 1 teaspoon
 margarine in each half. Cover and bake in hot oven (400 degrees) for
 30 minutes. Scoop cooked squash out of shells, leaving the
 wall about 1/4-inch thick. Mash squash and combine with 1
 tablespoon margarine, crushed pineapple, nutmeg and salt if
 desired, beating until well blended.
