                            Pea-Stuffed Tomatoes

    1      Pkg.          frozen sweet peas -- (9 oz.)
      1/2  C.            sliced fresh mushrooms
      1/3  C.            Italian dressing
      1/4  Tsp.          thyme leaves
    1      Dash          pepper
    6      Medium        tomatoes
 
 Cook peas as directed on package. In medium bowl
 combine peas, mushrooms, dressing, thyme and pepper. Cover;
 refrigerate 1 1/2 to 2 hours, tossing occasionally. Meanwhile,
 cut tops off tomatoes; scoop out pulp. Line 8-inch baking pan
 with paper towels. Invert tomatoes onto paper towels; refrigerate. 
 To serve, fill tomatoes with pea mixture. Makes 6
 servings.
