 Mix two or more kinds of fresh-cooked or left-over vegetables such as string be
 ans, carrots, and turnips or cauliflower, and place in a shallow baking dish.  
 Pour over the vegetables thin white sauce to which cheese has been added.  Cove
 r with buttered bread crumbs and bake in a moderate oven until the sauce bubble
 s and the crumbs are brown.
