            Roasted Pasilla Chili strips w/ Panela & Crema Agria

   12      ounces        Cacique Brand Panela cheese -- cubed
      1/2  cup           Cacique Brand Crema Mexicana Agria
   10                    Pasilla chilies -- roasted and peeled
    2                    onions -- thinly sliced
    1      cup           cilantro -- chopped
    2                    tomatoes -- chopped
                         salt and pepper -- to taste
    1      tablespoon    oil
    2      tablespoons   garlic -- minced
 
 Char the skins of the Pasilla chilies over an open flame. Place in a plastic gr
 ocery bag to steam. Peel skins off under running water. Open peppers and seed a
 nd vein them. Cut in 1/4 strips. Put the onion, the strips of chili and the ga
 rlic in oil . Add tomatoes, cilantro, Crema Agria, and the crumbled Panela. Hea
 t slowly. Great side dish to grilled chicken or fish. Delicious in a soft torti
 lla taco.
