                              Lemony Mushrooms

    5      tablespoons   lemon juice
    5      tablespoons   water
    1                    bay leaf
      1/2  teaspoon      salt
      1/2  teaspoon      tarragon -- or other herb
      1/2  pound         mushrooms -- cleaned and halved
    2      tablespoons   parsley -- minced
 
 Brin lemon juice, water and seasonings to boil in a small pot.  Add
 mushrooms, cover and simmer 3 min., or till mushrooms seem slightly cooked.
 Remove from heat and cool in liquid.  Drain and toss with parsley.
