                           Savory Yogurt Topping

      3/4  cup           strained nonfat plain yogurt
    1      tablespoon    fresh parsley -- minced
    1      tablespoon    fresh chives -- minced
      1/2  teaspoon      maple syrup -- pure
      1/8  teaspoon      ground black pepper
    1      tablespoon    white wine -- optional
 
 Gently blend all ingredients together. The maple syrup does not make this
 sweet; it simply takes off the sharp bite of the yogurt.
 
 CAUTION: If you overstir strained yogurt, it will become thin.
 
 Yield: 1 cup
 
 Serving Size: 2 Tablespoons
