                             Chokecherry Jelly

    1      pound         chokecherries
    1      cup           water
      1/2  cup           lemon juice
    1      package       MCP pectin
    4 1/2  cups          sugar
 
 Wash and crush  fruit; add water.  Simmer 15 minutes.  Squeeze out juice.  Meas
 ure 3 cups juice, lemon juice,  package MCP pectin, and sugar.  Boil exactly 2 
 minutes.  Pour into jars and water bath 10 minutes.
