       1 c  dry red wine
   1 1/2 TB soy sauce
     1/4 ts oregano
     1/4 ts marjoram
     1/8 ts pepper
       2 lb lean meat (flank or round
            steak, poultry, fish)
 
 Crumble oregano and marjoram into wine and soy sauce.  Add pepper. Place
 meat
 in a plastic bag, pour marinade over, and seal bag.  Chill 12 to 18 hours.  Baste
meat
 with marinade while cooking.
