                                Rice Pudding

    4      cups          milk
      1/2  cup           rice -- raw
      1/2  cup           sugar
      1/4  teaspoon      salt
    2                    eggs
    1      teaspoon      vanilla
 
 In sauce pan, heat milk, rice, sugar, and salt to boiling. Simmer 1 hour or until
rice is tender.
  Beat eggs, and add small amount of milk mixture to bring up to 
 temperature. pour back into sauce pan and cook for 5 minutes, 
 stirring constantly. DO NOT BOIL. Remove from heat and add vanilla. 
 Cover and refrigerate until chilled.
