                             Hot Pepper Relish

    4      pounds        onions -- white/purple
   40      each          hot chili peppers
    2      cups          sugar
    3      tablespoons   salt
    3      cups          vinegar
 
 Grind onions and peppers together.  Heat sugar, salt and vinegar to a boil. Add
  onion and pepper mixture and cook for 3 minutes.  Fill hot sterile jars and se
 al.  Makes about 6 pints.  Use water bath for 15 minutes.
