     1/4 c  unsalted butter
     1/8 t  kosher salt
       2 oz unsweetened chocolate
     3/4 c  light cream
       1 c  sugar
     1/2 t  vanilla
 
 combine butter and chocolate in a bowl 
 set over hot water and stir until melted 
 remove from heat
 stir in sugar, until dissolved 
 gradually stir in salt and cream 
 set back over hot water and stir until thoroughly blended remove from
 heat 
 stir in vanilla
 serve warm or at room temperature
