* Exported from MasterCook * Governor Martha Layne Collins' BROWNIES Recipe By : Serving Size : 1 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Brownies Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 3 squares unsweetened baking chocolate 1/2 pound butter 2 cups sugar 4 egg 1 1/3 cups flour 1 cup chopped pecans powdered sugar Melt chocolate with butter in top of double boiler. Remove and add sugar. Let cool and add well-beaten eggs, flour and pecans. Bake in two well-buttered 8″ by 8″ baking pans at 400F for approximately 18 minutes.
