   Amount  Measure       Ingredient -- Preparation Method

   4                     eggs -- well beaten
   1            package  fresh bean sprouts, drained -- 7 1/2 ounces
      1/3           cup  thinly sliced green onions
   1                cup  flaked, cooked crabmeat
      1/2      teaspoon  salt
      1/8      teaspoon  pepper
      1/8      teaspoon  garlic powder
   2        tablespoons  oil
                         FOO YOUNG SAUCE:
   1           teaspoon  cornstarch
   1           teaspoon  sugar
   2          teaspoons  soy sauce
   1           teaspoon  vinegar
      1/2           cup  chicken stock
 
 Combine eggs, bean sprouts, onions, crab meat, salt, pepper, and garlic
 powder, mixing lightly. Omit the salt if using canned crab meat. Heat
 the oil in a large frying pan using just enough to coat pan. Using
 about 1/4 cup of the mixture, fry crab patties as you woul pancakes.
 Remove to hot platter. 
 FOO YOUNG SAUCE: In pan comine first 5 ingredients. Stir in chicken
 stock or vegetable bouillon. Cook over low heat until thickened.
