       Title: German Layered Apple Cake
  Categories: Cheesecakes
       Yield: 1 servings
  
       6 c  Apples; peeled
            Cored and sliced
       1 pk German chocolate cake mix
       1 ts Cinnamon
   1 1/4 c  Water
     1/4 c  Butter; softened
       3    Eggs
     1/2 c  Nuts
            Pecan or walnut
            Frosting:
       3 oz Cream cheese
       4 tb Butter softened
       3 c  Confectioners sugar
  
   Preheat oven to 350F.  Grease lightly a 13x9 pan.  Layer
   1/2 apples evenly in pan.  In large bowl, mix dry cake mix,
   cinnamon, water, butter, and eggs on low until smooth.
   Then beat 2 min. on high.  Stir in nuts.  Pour 1/2 batter
   evenly over apples and repeat layers.  Bake  for 40-50 min.
   or until tooghpick comes out clean.  Cool in pan.  For
   frosting:  In small bowl blend frostind ingredients until
   smooth.  Frost top of cake and enjoy! Serves 12.JM.
