       Title: COCONUT POUND CAKE

       3 c  Cake flour
     1/2 ts Salt
   1 1/2 c  Vegetable shortening
       1 c  Coconut
       1 ts Baking powder
       1 c  Milk
   2 1/2 c  Sugar
       5    Eggs
       1 tb Coconut flavoring
  
      Mix well.  Pour into a floured and greased tube pan. Place in cold oven
   and bake 1 hour and 25 minutes at 325~. This means do not preheat the oven.
