                                 Plum Cake

    1      cup           oil
    2      cups          sugar
    3                    eggs
    1      teaspoon      cloves
    1      teaspoon      cinnamon
    2      cups          self-rising flour
    2      jars          strained plums (baby food)
    1      cup           milk
    1      cup           confectioner’s sugar
                         juice of one lemon
 					
 
 Mix oil, sugar, eggs, cloves, cinnamon, flour, and plums on medium speed. Add
nuts. Bake in greased and floured tube pan for 50 - 60 minutes at 300 degrees. 
For glaze: Mix confectioner’s sugar and lemon juice.  Pour over cake while warm.
