* Exported from MasterCook * Peach Walnut Spice Cake Recipe By : Serving Size : 12 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Cakes Chris Diabetic Book Also Sooz Diabetic Book Also Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1/2 cup Butter 1/2 cup Brown Sugar -- packed 1/3 cup Molasses 2 1/2 cups Flour 3/4 teaspoon Baking Soda 1/2 teaspoon Nutmeg 1/2 cup Sugar 4 Eggs 2 Fresh Peaches -- peeled and chopped 1/2 teaspoon Salt 2 teaspoons Cinnamon 1/2 cup Walnuts -- chopped Cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs, then add molasses ; beating thoroughly. Peel and chop peaches and stir into mixture. Combine rema ining ingredients and stir into creamed mixture until smooth. Pour into greased and floured 9 inch square pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 50 minutes or unt il pick inserted into center comes out dry.
