* Exported from MasterCook * Graham Cracker Cake Recipe By : Pat Asher Serving Size : 1 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Today’s Imports Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1/2 Lb Butter 2 C Sugar 4 Lg Eggs -- Separated 1 1/2 C Buttermilk 1 Lb Graham Cracker Crumbs Cream butter and sugar. Add egg yolks, then graham crackers and buttermilk, then 1/2 c or more chopped nut meats (optional). Last, fold in beaten egg whites. Bake at 325 deg. Grease and flour pans. If using tube or spring form pan, bake 1 hour. If using 2 9 inch cake pans, bake 45 minutes. Frost with Mock Whipped Cream Frosting. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - NOTES : This is a dense, moist, delicious cake.
