* Exported from MasterCook * Caramel Apple Crisp Recipe By : Big Cove Presbyterian Cook Book Serving Size : 1 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Crisps Apples Caramel Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 2 c apples -- sliced ---cinnamon and sugar--- -----TOPPING----- 2 c oatmeal (regular) 1 c butter or margarine 1/2 ts cinnamon 1/2 ts baking soda 1 Caramel topping 1 tb lemon juice 1 3/4 c flour 1 c brown sugar -- packed 3/4 ts salt 1 d nutmeg (optional) Mix apples with lemon juice, cinnamon and sugar--like making an apple pie. Combine topping, put on top of apples and bake in 9 x 13 inch pan at 375 degrees for 30 minutes or until apples are done.
