* Exported from MasterCook * Peach Delight Recipe By : Serving Size : 12 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Desserts Fruit Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 pkg Nabisco Sugar Wafer -- 10 oz crushed 10 fresh peaches -- peeled and sliced 1 Cup powdered sugar 3/4 cup butter 2 eggs -- separated 1 pint whipping cream Crush wafers and place layer in bottom of large cake pan. Save some to sprinkle on top. Beat egg whites til stiff and set aside. Cream butter, powdered sugar and egg yolks then gently fold in whipped egg whites. Spoon this on top of waffers crumbs. Slice fresh peaches on top. This may take 8-10 depending on size of peaches. Top off with sweetened whipped cream and remaining wafer crumbs. Refrigerate at least over night before serving. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - NOTES : I would use the pasteurized eggs that are now available, even though we have been eating this for years and have not gotten sick from using uncooked eggs.
