       Title: Jan’s Apple Crisp
  Categories: Pies
       Yield: 12 Servings

      13 Apples
       3 c Sugar
     1/2 ts Cinnamon
       2 c Flour
       1 ts Salt
       3 ts Baking powder
     1/2 c Butter (melted)
     1/2 c Milk

Slice apples into a 9x13 ungreased pan. Mix cinnamon (or nutmeg) into 2 cup
of sugar and pour over slices. Mix together the flour, salt, 1 cup sugar
and baking powder. Add to this the melted butter and stir well to get a
crumbly mixture. Spread this over the slices and dribble the milk over the
top. (I use a baster). Bake at 375 for 50 minutes..serve warm or cold..
serve with whipped cream or a slab of ice cream. This will freeze well. It
serves 12 - 15 lady size portions..Is very rich. A little goes a long way.
