---------- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.05 Title: Cran-Apple Crisp Categories: Pies, Low-fat Yield: 9 Servings 1 1/2 c Rolled oats; old-fashioned 1/4 c Brown sugar, packed 1/4 c Margarine; melted 1/4 c All-purpose flour; unbleache 1/4 ts Salt 3/4 c Sugar 1 ts Ground cinnamon 1 tb Cornstarch 3 c Tart apples; unpeeled, chopp 2 c Cranberries; fresh or frozen --if using frozen berries, t Recipe by: The New Dr. Cookie Cookbook Preheat oven to 350 degrees; coat an 8-inch square baking pan with nonstick cooking spray. Combine the oats, brown sugar, margarine, flour and salt in a small bowl. Stir well and set aside. Whisk together the sugar, cinnamon and cornstarch. Add the apples and cranberries; toss well. Place the mixture in the pan and sprinkle the oat topping evenly over top. Bake for 35 to 45 minutes, or until the fruit is hot and bubbly and the oats are nicely browned.
