For each creamy layer, use 1/2 c. boiling water, 1/c c. cold water, and 1/2 c. evaporated milk. Pour first layer into 9x13-inch glass pan and let set until firm, 45 minutes to 1 hour. Other layers will cool in 20-30 minutes. You can make several flavors and let some be cooling in bowls while the others are chilling in the refrigerator. Suggested flavors and layers: Bottom (1st layer) black cherry...........clear 2: red cherry or raspberry.................creamy 3: lime.................................................clear 4: lemon..............................................creamy 5: orange............................................clear 6: peach.............................................creamy 7: strawberry.....................................clear - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - NOTES : This takes awhile to do, but it’s fun and a real hit with kids.
