* Exported from MasterCook II * Rhubarb Crumble Recipe By : Serving Size : 4 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Desserts Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 c. flour 1 c. brown sugar 1/2 c. melted butter 3/4 c. oatmeal 1 t. cinnamon 1 c. white sugar 2 T. cornstarch 1 c. water 1 t. vanilla 4 c. rhubarb, cut in 1/2″ pieces Mix flour, brown sugar, melted butter, oatmeal & cinnamon until crumbly. Press half of this mixture onto bottom and part way up the sides of a greased 13 x 9 pan. Sprinkle rhubarb evenly over bottom. In saucepan, combine granulated sugar, cornstarch, water and vanilla. Heat to boiling, cook and stir until thickened, about 1 minute. Pour over rhubarb; top with remaining crumbly mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
