                               Rhubarb Crunch

    4      cups          rhubarb -- diced
                         TOPPING
    1      cup           flour -- sifted
      3/4  cup           rolled oats
    1      cup           brown sugar
      1/2  cup           melted butter
    1      teaspoon      cinnamon
                         SYRUP MIXTURE
    1      cup           sugar
    2      tablespoons   corn starch
    1      cup           water
    1      teaspoon      vanilla
 
 1. Mixed crumb topping in a medium bowl.
 
 2. cook syrup mixture saucepan over medium heat until thick and clear.
 
 3. Press half of crumb mixture into a 9"x13 pan. Cover with Rhubarb. Pour
 syrup mixture over that and top with the rest of crumbs. Bake for one hour
 at 350 dgr. Serve warm with cream or ice cream.
