                                PEANUT TORTE

                          -- Crust:
    1      cup           flour
      1/2  stick         margarine -- softened
      2/3  cup           dry roasted peanuts -- crushed
                          -- Layer 2:
    1      8 oz.         cream cheese
      1/3  cup           peanut butter
    1      cup           powdered sugar
    1      cup           cool whip
                          -- Layer 3:
    1      3 3/4 oz      chocolate pudding -- instant
    1      3 3/4 oz      vanilla pudding -- instant
                          -- Topping:
                         cool whip
      1/3  cup           peanuts -- crushed
 
  Combine crust ingredients and press into 9 x 13 pan.  Bake in preheated
 350 oven for 20 minutes.  Layer 2:  Cream cheese and peanut butter.  Add
 powdered sugar and fold in cool whip.  Spread over crust. Layer 3:  Mix
 all ingredients otgether.  Spread over cake.  Topping:  Top with cool
 whip and crushed peanuts/  Refrigerate.
