Cherry Fritters
 1 cup flour
 1/2 teaspoon salt
 1 teaspoon baking powder
 1 tablespoon melted butter
 1 egg
 1/3 cup milk
 1/4 cup drained cherries
 2 tablespoons sugar
 Mix dry ingredients. Beat egg; add melted butter. Combine with mild
 and add to dry ingredients. Fold in cherries. Drop by small teaspoon
 into 1 1/2 to 2 inches of hot fat. Fry 2 or more minutes until brown.
 Drain and dust with confectioners sugar. Fresh peaches, apricots,
 apples, or pineapple may be used instead of cherries. Also
 blueberries are great! 
 These are so easy to make and so good!
