Pour into quart jar:
        3 cup water at room temp.
        1 1/3 cup dry powdered milk
 Stir until dissolved. Add:
        1/2 c. commercial buttermilk
        dash of salt
 Stir until blended. Let stand at room temp. untill thickened. Stir just
 until blended. Refrigerate. Stir before using. Save 1/2 c. buttermilk
 to use as base for next batch.
