* Exported from MasterCook * Eckrich Smokey Sausage Saute' Recipe By : Eckrich Serving Size : 5 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : All Newly Typed Not Shared Sausage Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 1 package (16 oz.) Eckrich smoked sausage -- sliced 1 Tablespoon margarine or butter 2 medium zucchini, cut in half lengthwise -- sliced 1 Tablespoon instant minced onion 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt 1/4 teaspoon oregano leaves 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper 2 medium tomatoes -- chopped hot cooked pasta or rice Lightly brown sausage in large skillet over medium heat, about 4-5 minutes. Remove sausage and set aside. Add margarine, zucchini and onion to skillet and cook until zucchini is crisp-tender. Return sausage and add garlic salt, oregano and pepper; stir to mix. Add tomatoes and continue heating until hot. Serve sausage zucchini mixture over pasta or rice.
