---------- Recipe via Meal-Master (tm) v8.01 Title: Apple Crisp Categories: Desserts, Fruits Yield: 6 servings 1 c C&H Golden Brown Sugar 1/2 c All-purpose flour 1/2 ts Nutmeg 1/2 ts Cinnamon 1/4 ts Salt 1/4 c Butter or margarine 5 c Sliced tart apples -- (5 to 6 apples) Mix sugar, flour, spices, and salt. Cut in butter until mixture is crumbly. Spread apples in bottom of buttered 8- or 9-inch square baking pan. Sprinkle crumbly mixture over fruit; pat lightly with fingers. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes, or until apples are tender. Serve warm with cream or ice cream. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
